This Privacy Policy applies to the information we obtain through your use of our website located at www.delivereasy.com or any social media sites maintained by us from time to time, together with any subdomains and other related pages, our “Website”.

This Privacy Policy applies to use of our hosted solutions or other products or services, including by downloading our mobile or other applications to your computer, mobile phone, tablet or other electronic device, or when you create an account, email us, call us, send us a message, complete any of our online or paper forms, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “DeliverEasy services”).

Due to the nature of the DeliverEasy services, where businesses can manage and coordinate deliveries to their end user customers, we also collect and process information, including at times personal data, of the end-user customers.

In general, any personal data collected during such processes will be used to reply to your queries, to allow you and your customers to use or receive the benefit of the DeliverEasy services, to carry out delivery or sales activities, to provide customer support, in order to ensure you and the end-user customers of your business have a happy customer experience.

Information We Collect

DeliverEasy collects information about you and your company as well as, information about the end-user customers of your business. This information is collected as you use, access or interact with our Website and the DeliverEasy services. Such information may be gathered directly by us or through the services of third parties.

Account and Profile information

We collect information about you, your company and where relevant, about the end user customers of your business, as you or your company register(s) for an account, whether it is a trial account or full services account, and when you (or your company) create or modify your profile, or otherwise use, access or interact with the DeliverEasy services. Such information may include for example contact information such as name, email address, mailing address and telephone number, billing information such as credit card details and billing address, profile information such as username, profile photo and job title and preferences information such as notification and marketing preferences. Another user (such as a system administrator) may create an account on your behalf and may provide your information, including personal information (typically when your company creates you a DeliverEasy account).

You also give us permission to access your information from other services. For example, your information or company information with us may be linked to your Google, Microsoft or other third-party account, which may allow us to obtain your personally identifiable information, such as your full name, address, contact details or account number.

Cookies

We may from time to time use cookies on the DeliverEasy Website. Cookies are very small files which the Website uses to identify you when you come back to the site and to store details about your use of the DeliverEasy services. Cookies are not malicious programs that access or damage your computer. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you or your end-users can choose to reject cookies by changing your browser settings. There may, however, be many features of the DeliverEasy services which require the use of cookies in order to provide for the delivery of information and services to you or your end user customers.

Users of the Website or DeliverEasy services should be aware that non-sensitive personal information and data may be automatically collected by virtue of the standard operation of DeliverEasy software cookies.

Our website may from time to time use cookies to analyse website traffic and help us provide you or your end-users with a better experience. In addition, cookies may be used to serve relevant ads to website visitors through third party services such as Google Ads. These ads may appear on the DeliverEasy Website or other websites you visit.

Website logs and analytics

We gather information and store it in log files when you or your customers interact with our site and use the DeliverEasy services.

Information may include for example internet protocol (IP) addresses as well as browser type, internet service provider, URLs of referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, information you search for, locale and language preferences, identification number associated with your devices, your mobile carrier and system configuration information. Different types of information may also depend upon device you or your customers are using.

Tracking information is also collected and stored in log files or database, as you or your customers navigate through the site and use the DeliverEasy services, including, but not limited to purchase history, delivery history, and Website navigation (click tracking).

DeliverEasy may use third party advertising tools (including Google marketing and similar advertising tools). This means that information related to your web browsing behaviour may be collected while visiting our site, which later can be used by third-party vendors, including Google. You have the option to opt out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting the Google Ads opt-outpage.

Device information

When you register or use our mobile application (the “Driver app”), we collect device type and a unique identifier generated within the Driver app and store this information in log files on the device. We use this information to provide you with the most up to date application and features, or to promote products and services to you and your company’s end-users.

Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information or your end-users to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. Personal information is only supplied to a third party when it is required for the delivery of DeliverEasy services.

Such third-party service providers may include for example parties that provide website development, crash reporting and related services, application development, hosting, maintenance, back-up, storage, virtual (or cloud computing) infrastructure, payment processing, analysis, marketing, SMS and other alerting services, providing customer support, account administration and other services. These service providers may have access to or process your information for the purpose of providing those services for us.

We may from time to time need to disclose personal information to comply with a legal requirement, such as a law, regulation, court order, subpoena, warrant, in the course of a legal proceeding or in response to a law enforcement agency request.

We may also use your personal information to protect the copyright, trademarks, legal rights, property or safety of DeliverEasy Pty Ltd, www.delivereasy.com our customers or third parties.

Information that we collect may from time to time be stored, processed in or transferred between parties located in countries outside of Australia.

If there is a change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, we reserve the right to transfer to the extent permissible at law our user databases, together with any personal information and non-personal information contained in those databases. This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under a confidentiality agreement. We would seek to only disclose information in good faith and where required by any of the above circumstances.

Security of your personal information

DeliverEasy Pty Ltd is committed to ensuring that the information you and your end-users provide to us is secure, including by means of using encryption technology. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

Please note however that no website or internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted over the internet. Any information you transmit to DeliverEasy you do at your own risk and DeliverEasy cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of any unauthorised access to or disclosure of information supplied by you or your system administrator.

We recommend that you take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your device and account, by using strong passwords and do not disclose your passwords to anyone. If your account password with us has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify DeliverEasy and change your password.

Accessing your personal information

You may request details of personal information that we hold about you in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). A small administrative fee may be payable for the provision of information. If you would like a copy of the information, which we hold about you or believe that any information we hold on you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please contact us at privacyofficer@delivereasy.com.

We reserve the right to refuse to provide you with information that we hold about you, in certain circumstances set out in the Privacy Act.

Accuracy of personal information

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the information we collect is accurate and up to date at the time of collection. In order to keep your personal information accurate and up to date with respect to your account with us, you can log in to review and update your account information, including contact and billing information, via your user and tenancy settings pages.

In other circumstances outside of any account, or otherwise as needed in order to change or update the accuracy of our records, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to amend the information.

Geolocation Data

The DeliverEasy software collects and stores you or your customer''s delivery addresses (stored as latitudes and longitudes). DeliveryEasy share latitudes and longitudes with third party mapping API services (Google Maps), to create and to optimise delivery routes. This data is de-identified prior to sharing with any services.

The Driver App does not collect or use any geolocation data.

Changes to Privacy Policy

Please be aware that we may change this Privacy Policy in the future. We may modify this Policy at any time, at our sole discretion and all modifications will be effective immediately upon our posting of the modifications on our Website. Please check back from time to time to review our Privacy Policy.
